Precision Engineered Excellence
CNC milling
CNC Milling is a versatile machining method used in various industries to produce parts with precise dimensions, smooth surfaces, and complex geometries. It is commonly used in metalworking but can also be applied to other materials such as plastics and composites. Milling is a machining process that involves removing material from a workpiece using a rotating cutting tool.
Spark
Erosion
Spark erosion is a process that enables the machining of hard or soft conductive materials, where features are machined using a shaped electrode to erode away material. Spark erosion enables us to produce features with internal sharp corners that would be impossible to machine conventionally.
We offer a full spark erosion service, including the design and (utilising our wire erosion & milling sections) manufacture of electrodes to customer requirements.
CNC
Turning
When it comes to cylindrical parts like pins, shafts, and spacers, as well as components with rotational symmetry, turning them on a lathe is often the most straightforward and cost-effective method. Unlike a mill, a lathe operates by securing a cylindrical stock, commonly known as a rod, into a rotating chuck jaw on the machine.
WIRE
EROSION
The process of of wire erosion enables us to cut difficult to machine conductive materials with tremendous accuracy. Parts can be from less than 1mm up to 450mm in thickness and very small from a few grams up to 400kg in weight. Wire erosion can cut tungsten carbide, exotic steel alloys, titanium and aluminium – in fact as long as it conducts electricity it can be cut with Wire EDM.
